About
BluKernel Labs is a technology company. We invent, engineer, and operate our own software products.
What BluKernel Labs is
A small technology company in Bengaluru that builds and runs its own software, end to end. Research and engineering are not separate stages here. An idea becomes a working system without a handoff.
We do not take client work and we do not sell contract engineering. What we ship, we operate — which means we carry the consequences of our own decisions, and it is the main reason the decisions are made carefully.
How the work gets decided
- Invention, then engineeringAn idea has to survive being built before it counts as an idea.
- Correct, then earlyDates are estimates. Correctness is the gate.
- Small surface, long lifeFewer features, maintained for years. The core is small, and that is the point.
- Say less than you knowDo the work before describing it. We would rather understate a thing that exists than announce one that does not.
- Collect less, keep lessSay plainly what is stored and why. Our privacy policy is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we build
Every layer of the stack is written and maintained here: systems design before the first screen, product engineering across the interface and the backend, infrastructure with deployment, observability and backups designed alongside the product, and interface craft where typography, motion and latency are treated as one subject. If it feels slow, it is broken.
Applied intelligence is used where it earns its cost and left out where a simpler method is more honest.
Products
- GoodLuck — getgoodluck.inAn Android app for janam kundli, panchang and muhurat, rashifal and kundli milan, free to read in full, with paid consultations with practitioners priced in the open. In development; not on the Play Store yet.
More than one product is in development. We will describe them here when there is something to describe.
